What actually decides a badge
The app is the product
Buyers judge an e-badge in the first five minutes with the app: pairing, cropping, uploading a clip. Unbranded apps that stop updating are the top complaint in reviews. We supply a maintained white-label app and keep it current.
Transfer speed sets the content
Over Bluetooth alone a short clip takes 30–60 seconds, so most badges cap video at three seconds. Wi-Fi models move it in seconds. Pick the link for the content your customers will load.
Battery against brightness
A badge worn outdoors needs brightness; a badge worn all day needs hours. Firmware dimming curves, sleep-on-idle and content encoding are tuned to the use case rather than left at defaults.
Magnet, pin and fabric
Too weak and the badge drops in a crowd; too strong and it marks a jacket or slides on a phone. Magnet grade and back-plate design are tested on real fabrics and cases.

What is the minimum order for a custom electronic badge?
300 units for a white-label badge (BO-N1 or BO-A1) with your logo and app; around 1,000 for a new housing or custom firmware. A pre-production unit is signed off before every run.
Do I need to build my own app?
No. Every order includes a white-label iOS and Android app under your name and colours. Brands that want their own app can license our SDK and protocol instead.
Can you preload licensed artwork?
Yes. Artwork is flashed at the factory and can be locked so it cannot be replaced, or left open alongside user content. You supply the licence; we sign an NDA before receiving files.
Which certifications can the badges carry?
We design toward CE, FCC, RoHS, UN 38.3 for the battery and Bluetooth SIG listing. Test reports are arranged per market and per order; we will not claim a certificate an order does not have.
