Why this badge holds up
Rear-camera selfies, any phone
Snap it to the back of the phone and it shows the rear camera live, so selfies and group shots use the better lens. Phone-maker versions pair only with their own handsets; this one works with iPhone and Android.
The phone stays online
Budget viewfinder screens make the phone join the screen’s hotspot and cut it off the internet. Ours keeps the phone’s own connection while previewing.
Shoot with the system camera
The shutter on the badge drives the phone’s own camera app, so night mode, portrait and telephoto all stay in play.
Wi-Fi fast transfer, AMOLED
Off the phone it is a premium e-badge: clips move in seconds instead of minutes, and self-lit pixels give real black around round artwork.
